Despite doomsday headlines, it is not a horrible time to buy. Competition has slowed (for now) and more inventory is popping up daily. In fact, if you are thinking of buying in the near future it is a great time to start preparing. A lot of buyers have sidelined do to increasing mortgage rates, talks of recession, summer vacation plans, or burnout from a brutal Seller’s Market over the past two years. While we are trending to a more balanced market, it is important to know that in our area it is still a Seller’s Market. That means it is important to be prepared for when the right home comes on the market.
